Last night at home

It is hard to believe that the next time we are here at home we will be a family of 7! This is our last night here and it has been full of last minute details. So much planning and praying have led up to this point and I can't quite believe it is really here. Thank you to everyone who has called to wish us well and say goodbye. Even more - thank you for all of your prayers and support! Next post won't be from Kentucky . . . Angie

33 hours and counting

Well it is Wednesday night and there are only 33 hours left until we get on the plane and only a few more days until we will see Chloe for the first time! We spent today getting our kids ready to spend 2 weeks with Nana and Booboo (my wonderful parents who volunteered to keep Benjamin, Johnathan, and Rebecca while we are gone). We drove to Berea KY to meet them and they took the kids back to their house in Tennessee. Coming home to a quiet house feels sad and I am glad that we will be very busy until we leave. It certainly won't be quiet when we get back and I am definitely looking forward to that! Now that the kid's packing is completed it's time to finish ours!

This is Chloe's Chinese name, Shao Fu Yi, in Chinese characters. They are listed in the same order her name is spelled.

Chloe is from the city of Shaoguan in the Guandong providence, not far from Guangzou and Hong Kong. Hence the name Shao, I assume.
